I knitted this version of Lilleth with brown copper lined seed beads and a copper colored DMC perle cotton. It's mounted on a gold colored reproduction frame which can be purchased through Victorian Cottage Treasures or Purse Paradise. I antiqued the frame and glued a metal charm to both sides of the metal after the purse was completed.
The purpose of this page is to show all my customers how different they can make my purse designs just by changing the color combinations and frame styles -- Enjoy!
I knitted this version of Lilleth with turquoise black lined seed beads and DMC perle cotton. It's mounted on a silver colored reproduction frame which can be purchased through Victorian Cottage Treasures or Purse Paradise. I antiqued the frame and glued a metal charm to both sides of the metal after the purse was completed.
This is Sheila No. 0013
I knitted this version of Sheila with Garnet colored seed beads and DMC perle cotton. It's mounted on a silver Vintage frame. You can see some vintage frames on ebay or at www.Aryhonel.com I also added an antique brooch with a couple dancing the Minuete on the stone in the center of the brooch which has ruby colored stones in each corner.
This is Chantress No. 0007
I thought you might like to see this purse made from the Chantress pattern. Even though I used a similar red color bead and thread, it is worth showing because I mounted it on a reproduction frame which can be purchased from Victorian Cottage Treasures or Purse Paradise. It is really a beautiful frame--very shiny and a nice heavy metal. You will be very happy with this frame, not only because it is a pretty frame, but it's also inexpensive compared to the vintage frames. You could always add a pretty heirloom brooch pin to the top to decorate it up a little.
Here is a shot of the inside of the Chantress Purse. You can see how pretty the top of the frame is shaped with the scallops and all. The purse is lined with 100% silk dupioni and the trim is made from silk ribbon bows and metallic thread flowerettes. You can make the inside of your purse a beautiful suprise. It's fun to hear the "oooo's" and "ah's" from people when you open your purse!
Here is the Harlequin No. 0002knitted as a custom order and mounted on a Bag Lady frame. I added a little butterfly pin to give it a little more pizzaz. You can see that it looks just as pretty on a new frame. Even though this frame is meant to have a chain for a strap, I improvised and was able to make a strap work on this frame.
What do you think of a re-knit of Lavender Lace No. 0004 using similar colors as the original? This is the same frame as shown on the Harlequin above (from Bag Lady). I "antiqued" it a bit to give it a little more character and added a vintage brooch with a little purple stone bobble hanging down. Just shows what you can do even with new frames. I did the same type of improvisation to make a strap for this frame instead of a chain handle. Contact me and I will tell you how to do it.

This is Vanessa No. 0012 done in black. I have done it it white (for Bride's Delight) and the original one I did in red. Black is very dazzling for evening. These beads are Jet 2-cut size 11 Czech beads. The cut beads always sparkle. You could add a rhinestone to the frame for an extra splash. I used an antique frame which is exactly like the one I used on the Bride's Delight version of Vanessa. But you can use frames from Victorian Cottage Treasures or Purse Paradise. Email me if you want to know which frames will fit.
Peek Inside. Lined with 100% silk dupioni as are all of my bags. I used a black braid trim too. I know it's kind of hard to see, but use your imagination!
