The following corrections on Ridges 1 through 3 should be made. I included all the ridges up to the point where the table of rows starts on the pattern copy. But it is actually Ridges 1 through 3 that might have the errors. Some customers do have this correct information on their copies; however, it has come to my attention that there are some older copies out there that are not correct. If your pattern reads as below, then you need not make any corrections to your copy.
Cast on 42 stitches. Knit back plain. Knit 2 MORE ridges (4 complete rows) plain before beginning to count ridges. From here on, we will start with Ridge 1 and knit through to Ridge 50.
Ridges 1 -3: K3, (slip 1, K2, Slip 2, K2, slip 3, K2, slip 1, K2, slip 3, K2, slip 2, K2) 3 times, slip 1, K3. Back: knit exactly the same.
Ridges 4 & 5: K3 (slip 1, K2, slip 2, K2, slip 3, K2, slip 2, K2, slip 3, K2. Slip 2, K2) 3 times, slip 1, K3. Back: Knit exactly the same.
Ridges 6 & 7: K3 (slip 1, K2, slip 2, K2, slip 3, K2, slip 3, K2, slip 3, K2. Slip 2, K2) 3 times, slip 1, K3 Back: Knit exactly the same.

Corrections for this section made on 9-9-2008:
RIDGE 50: First Side (Right side): K2, drop a length of beads 3” long, twist between fingers and knit into next stitch. Continue dropping 3” lengths of beads and knitting into each stitch across the purse, ending knit last 2 stitches plain. You have 2 plain stitches at the beginning of the row and 2 plain stitches at the end of the row and 107 fringes across. Second Side (Wrong Side): Knit plain 111 stitches across. This side of the ridge will be difficult due to the fringes making the knit stitches tighter than normal. Take special care when completing this row. If you drop a stitch here, it is next to impossible to pick it up again. (I never start this row without a pillow on my lap, wearing my magnifying visor, having plenty of light, no interruptions and plenty of time!)
To complete this side of the purse, knit one ROW as follows: Knitting and slipping the same number of beads as in Ridge 48 and at the same time, binding off the 69 stitches that were cast on in Ridge 49 until you have the original 42 sts., This is a right side ridge. Once complete, you will be ready to do a wrong side ridge (Ridge 48).
